Drop an Oak Sapling and a piece of Deepslate into still water, and watch as the forest answers — granting you a **Willow Sapling**, the first step toward the unknown. Drop an **Oak Sapling** and **Deepslate** into a **water source block**. 2. Retrieve the **Willow Sapling** that appears — your first sign of attunement. 3. Grow a Willow tree and craft the **Willow Altar** and **Chalk**. 4. Follow the in-game grimoire to learn your first simple sigils and rituals.
