# WHAT IS VULKAN-ISM?
Vulkan-Ism is a modpack made around [Vulkan Mod](https://modrinth.com/mod/vulkanmod) which is a **Minecraft mod that replaces Minecraft's OpenGL renderer with an optimized renderer that uses Vulkan API** to increase **Major fps boost** in gameplay.
This modpack mainly contains **performance boosting** mods that increase players fps when playing minecraft. ~~In addition, this modpack also includes quality of life mods and resource packs to elevate the minecraft gaming experience.~~
