# What This Mod Does **Visible Block Entities** makes block entities viewable anywhere inside the set render distance. This is especially useful for bases that make heavy use of banners or other block entities in their design. ## How does it work? Visible Block Entities overrides the hard-coded 64 block rendering limit for block entities. Instead it uses the set render distance to calculate the rendering limit to make it practically unnoticeable. - Performance drops _may_ occur if there is too many block entities in the set render distance. **This can simply be fixed by lowering the set render distance or installing a performance enhancing mod.** - Due to how this mod overwrites base Minecraft code, there is always a possibility this can cause incompatibilities with another mod. **At this time, there is no known incompatibilities with any other mod.**
