# The Unseen Observer # All event frequencies and spawn rates can be configured in the mod `CONFIG` file A psychological overhaul for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). This isn't a "dweller" mod. There are no loud screams or cheap jumpscares. ### Overview The Observer is a background process that monitors player behavior. It doesn't want to kill your character; it wants to interfere with your perception of the game. ### Features * **Behavioral Tracking:** The entity logs your movement patterns, death count, and playtime. This data persists across different worlds. * **Metadata Integration:** The mod pulls your PC hostname and OS username. The Observer will use this information to address you directly via chat. * **Environmental Gaslighting:** Subtle manipulation of world triggers. Torches may extinguish, sounds may desync, and chunks may update incorrectly when the entity is "present." * **Real-time Synchronization:** The mod uses your system clock to trigger events. Nighttime in real life changes how the entity behaves in-game. ### Technical Notes * No internet connection is required. All data is stored locally in a hidden `.dat` file. * If you see your real name in the chat, it is not a bug.
