Flashlight adds a fully functional flashlight to Minecraft. You can hold it in your main hand or offhand, or attach it directly to a helmet.
✨ What does the mod add?
🔦 Handheld Flashlight
You can hold the flashlight and shine a bright volumetric beam forward.
⛑️ Helmets with Flashlights
The flashlight can be attached to any helmet, allowing you to turn on the light directly from your head.
🎬 Flashlight Animations
The flashlight has its own animations, including a button press animation when turning it on and off.
🎮 Convenient Controls
Press I to turn the flashlight on or off.
You can change this key in Minecraft settings:
Options → Controls → Flashlight
🛠️ Flashlight Crafting
To craft a regular flashlight, you need:
Iron Ingot
Gold Ingot
Copper Ingot
Redstone Block
Redstone Lamp
Stone Button
⛑️ Helmet Flashlight Crafting
You can attach the flashlight to any helmet: leather, chainmail, iron, golden, diamond, netherite, or turtle helmet.
For the recipe, you need:
Flashlight on top
String on the left and right
Slimeball in the center
Any helmet at the bottom
After crafting, you will get the same helmet, but with a flashlight attached.
