This shader is a HEAVILY customized and enhanced version of Super Duper Vanilla by Eldeston, rebuilt around a simple idea: keep Minecraft looking like Minecraft, but make every scene feel better. Mail me for feedbacks: invisiblemutant25@gmail.com Expect softer, more natural shadows, subtle bloom, improved lighting, enhanced skies and clouds, atmospheric fog, better water, and animated foliage — without turning the game into a photorealistic showcase. The shader also adds dynamic handheld lighting, so torches and lanterns actually light the world while you're holding them, along with improved first-person item/hand movement. The foliage animation was further refined to keep leaves and vines moving naturally and consistently, including synchronized shadow movement. Performance and stability were also kept in focus, making it suitable for lower-to-mid-range hardware rather than sacrificing FPS for unnecessary effects. Used the shader's existing wind/wave system rather than creating a separate animation system. Vine movement follows the existing windStrength, wind speed, and wind frequency behavior. 🍃 Vine & Leaf Synchronization Adjusted the vine displacement so it moves together with the existing leaf animation. This fixed the ugly gaps that appeared between vines and the leaves/canopy while waving. Vines and nearby leaves now receive matching horizontal displacement. 🌊 Gap Fix Fixed the visible separation between connected vine sections during animation. The vine movement was changed so adjacent pieces don't pull apart unnaturally when the wind changes direction. ⚙️ Shader Optimization The final version was optimized across the shader, not just the vine animation: - Avoided unnecessary sin() calculations for blocks that don't use wind animation. - Avoided unnecessary cos() calculations for blocks that don't need the relevant animation. - Avoided unnecessary water-wave calculations for non-water blocks. - Removed unused celestialFunctions.glsl. - Removed an old disabled/commented-out SRGB code section. - Removed duplicated development/source files that aren't required at runtime. - Checked that remaining shader #include references still resolve.
