This mod delivers an atmospheric experience built around the lore and creatures from the show Stranger Things.  --- ## The Awakening The Upside Down doesn't open on its own. The world starts as regular vanilla Minecraft. But when you interact with the **sensory deprivation tank** and encounter the Demogorgon lurking within, everything changes. **Attacking it triggers The Awakening.** From that moment on, the Upside Down is alive. --- ## Creatures from the Upside Down | Creature | Description | |---|---| | **Demogorgon** | The apex predator of the Upside Down. Highly intelligent, incredibly aggressive. | | **Demodog** | Pack hunters. They coordinate attacks and grow increasingly dangerous in numbers. | | **Demobat** | Swarming aerial threats that spawn in hordes. | | **Vecna** | The big bad. Haunts cursed players; stalking them, appearing and vanishing, getting deeper into your mind before it's too late... | --- ## Vecna's Curse Once the world awakens, Vecna may choose a victim. - **Nightmare Visions** trigger randomly throughout the day - hallucination mobs, spider swarms, visions of the Upside Down, and more. The only way out? **Find your music.** Use the **Walkman** and Kate Bush's *Running Up That Hill* to fight back. --- ## Eleven's Powers Wield the power of the most powerful girl in the world: - **Telekinesis** — Levitate entities, hold them suspended in the air, then fling or blast them away with a flick of your mouse. The harder the flick, the farther they fly. - **Rift Manipulation** — Focus your powers for 3 seconds to **tear open a Rift** to the Upside Down through any wall or floor. Focus again to seal it. - **Power Mode** — Toggle enhanced power for extreme throws - **Cost** — Using your powers drains hunger. Push past starvation and it costs you health. --- ## The Upside Down Dimension A mirrorworld version of the Overworld. - **Upside Down Dirt & Grass** with unique textures. - **Rifts** randomly tear open near players after The Awakening, connecting your world to the Upside Down - **Flickering lights** - Upside Down interference causes nearby torches and lanterns to flicker - Existing worlds can be **synchronized** with a one-time world scan when you first install the mod --- ## Items - **Music Disc: Running Up That Hill** (Kate Bush) - Your salvation against Vecna's curse. Plays in a Jukebox. - **Walkman** - Find it in the abyss.
