# Starter Wolf Companion ## Overview Give every new survivor a loyal ally! **Starter Wolf Companion** automatically spawns a tamed wolf for each player the first time they join your world—and again **3 minutes** after their previous companion falls in battle. The wolf slowly regenerates health on its own and keeps the surrounding chunks force-loaded so it’s always ready to protect you. You are not limited to a single wolf.
