[](https://s1a.uk/sop2) [](https://s1a.uk/discord) [](https://fabricmc.net) # Simply Optimized 2 After the recent exit from the modpack community by the original Simply Optimized creator, I have taken it upon myself to update and rejuvenate the project ## Performance gains: ### Without Simply Optimized 2: 290 fps ### With Simply Optimized 2: 403 fps All measurements were taken on a PC with the specs: i5-11600K, GTX 1660 Ti and 32GB RAM on everything as default (16 render, 12 simulation, fancy) except for uncapping the frame rate and turning VSync off ## What does Simply Optimized 2 do? - It aims to keep your game as **light and vanilla feeling as possible** with maximum performance gains. If you just want a quick way to get all of the optimization mods in one click, you can use this modpack for that - It stays updated, so whenever there is a new update, Simply Optimized 2 is the modpack you can go to ## What makes Simply Optimized 2 different? - Other modpacks may add extra bloat mods or mods which aren't needed for your use case, so you can build off this modpack and only add what you actually need! - In comparison to Simply Optimized, I have removed a couple of the mods in there because they tweak some of the vanilla features, like for example ServerCore reducing villager ticking and BadOptimizations not making a huge difference. ## If you have issues with the modpack: - Please join the [discord](https://s1a.uk/discord-sop2-help)
