# SmoothBreak  SmoothBreak restores the block-breaking behavior from Minecraft 1.7, where switching tools mid-mining did **not** reset block break progress. In modern versions, when you're mining a block with one tool and switch to another, the progress resets. This mod prevents that — allowing you to **scroll between pickaxes** (or similar tools) without any loss of progress. ## Will it be updated to newer versions or loaders?
