YOU NEED PISTOL DATAPACK AND TEXTURE-PACK TOGETHER, OR ELSE CRAFTING RECIPE WONT WORK. This texture pack changes crossbows into pistols. To get the pistol you will have to craft a bullet and find the rest of the crafting recipe. This texture pack comes with a different crafting recipe making it a little different to obtain the item.
