# **Vanilla Scythes Pack — Scythes in Minecraft**
Have you ever wished Minecraft had scythes as real weapons, but without installing mods, loaders, or anything that could affect compatibility?
This resource pack adds scythes to Minecraft in a clean and immersive way, keeping the game completely vanilla.
### Vanilla (CIT) v1.2
It uses a simple method:
Renaming items in an anvil. In this case, you rename specific swords using the correct scythe name, and the sword will visually transform into a scythe.
### Vanilla (change) Coming Soon
This method changes normal swords into scythes by default.
### Vanilla (Datapack) Coming Soon
This version of the texture pack is only meant to provide visual functionality for the datapack.
