# An Alpha version for 1.20.1 is avaliable!, progress updates will only be on discord!
SCP: Lockdown originally was a remake of the 'SCPCraft' mod created by Yu_tu. Now refreshed in 1.12 (and 1.16.5)! Lockdown's intent is to better reflect SCPs as originally defined in the [SCP-Wiki](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/).
### A note about Alpha 1.16.5 Versions
Alpha versions (snapshots) are being released on an ad-hoc basis. Alphas do not reflect the final stage of the mod and is subject to be changed as development progresses. For 'Live' Updates, please join the [Discord](https://discord.gg/TzZu6nDVGK)!
#### For versions 1.16.5, you need to use __Java 16__
# It is critical to note that 1.12.2 worlds ARE NOT compatable with the 1.16.5 version of the mod.
This will be the only warning given and any corrupted saves as a result of trying to convert is not SCP: Lockdowns responsibility.
