You're fighting a zombie in a dark cave, your loyal dog jumps in to help, and bam... your sword sweeps and hits your own pet. The guilt is unbearable. Safe Pets is a simple, lightweight Quality of Life (QoL) mod that **completely disables "friendly fire" for your tamed animals**. If you are the owner of the pet, your attacks will simply be canceled without dealing any damage to them. ------- ### Features: ### **Protects all your tamed and owned animals from your own attacks, including:** - Wolves (Dogs) - Cats - Parrots - Horses, Donkeys, and Mules - Llamas ## ⚠️ Important Notes: Only protects against YOU: This mod only stops the owner from hurting their pets. Monsters, lava, fall damage, and other players can still hurt them. Keep them safe! ### Cross-platform: Built with [Architectury API](https://modrinth.com/mod/architectury-api/versions?g=1.20.1). Available for both Forge and Fabric. Multiplayer: If you are playing on a server, this mod needs to be installed on the server for the damage cancellation to work.
