# Riding Mouse Fix
⚠️ **This mod will not receive updates for now, as [Fix Horizontal Camera Lag](https://modrinth.com/mod/fix-horizontal-camera-lag) provides a superior fix for this issue**
Fixes the sluggish mouse feeling when riding a minecart, or any other entity (see MC-259512).
**This mod is currently in alpha, and there are some issues. Most noticeable, when playing with a high ping the mouse might jump all over the place.**
Does not affect boats, as they work properly in vanilla Minecraft!
## Showcase
In both examples the player is **sitting in a minecart moving the mouse in a circle**.
