This is a simple data pack that utilizes the `ambient_light_color` attribute in `dimension_type/the_end.json`. This gives the ambient light a purple-ish hue, however `sky_color` and `sky_light_color` are also slightly changed to fit with the ambient light.
**This is INCOMPATIBLE with Minecraft versions under 26.1!** This is because `ambient_light_color` was not introduced until this verison.
**This does NOT automatically work in multiplayer!** You must upload the data pack to your server in order to use it there.
This is a vanilla data pack, so no mods are required. A mod that disables the "experimental settings" warning (such as Experimentalist) is recommended, however.
**For 1.21 and lower,** if you want a resource pack that changes the end lighting, I made a resource pack called [Purple End (with Stars)](https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/purple-end-with-stars) that does that. The main focus is the custom skybox, but includes other things like emissive textures and pink fire!
