### A challenging survival experience that expands upon the game
Progression Rethought changes a lot of the progression throughout the game, removing stone tools and replacing them with copper ones, making it so iron requires a blast furnace, which had its recipe changed and so on. Here are some of the changes:
- **Hunger** is more challenging, as farming crops and breeding animals got a lot harder.
- **Enchanting** is completely reworked.
- **Progression** is slower, but not so much that it becomes boring.
- **Archeology** has a lot more content.
- **Villages** don't exist anymore, so no more bread for a lifetime.
- **Building** received lots of love with new blocks and vertical slabs.
- And a **LOT** more!
