This resource pack for Minecraft Java Edition 1.16+ makes the game look like Lego. Plasticraft was inspired by the creations of Cheesey Studios on youtube, as well as the existing Lego Minecraft product line. I have taken inspiration from AlexTestria's Brickcraft and Macio6's Minebricks, and created a new texture style that captures the simplistic and colorful look of Lego.
Unlike resource packs like Minebricks and Brixel, which require specular reflections with shaders to see 3D details, Plasticraft has 3D block and item models that work in vanilla Minecraft. I have tried to balance detail and performance by optimizing the 3D blocks with cullfacing and only using complex models on less common blocks. I have chosen to make common blocks such as grass and stone be "tiled off", for both a smoother look and smoother running game.
