# My Potato Adventure
**A semi-modded experience for players who proudly own a potato.**
This pack is built for people whose PC can't handle a heavy modded setup, but still want more than vanilla. Most of the mods here are optimization-focused or are mod-based ports of datapacks, which keeps the world close to vanilla and avoids adding tons of new blocks.
The goal: keep it **vanilla-like, but slightly modded** — easier crafting so you can focus on exploring, a reason to settle down and build your town, and enough combat threat to keep you awake but not overworked.
### Performance reference
Tested on a laptop with **CPU: Intel Core i7-1255U (12th Gen) iGPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics RAM: 32 GiB total** and **4GB RAM allocated to minecraft** — With Voxy enabled, this pack still hits **100+ FPS** with very little to no drop, most notable drop are at 40fps with voxy enable on VERY large panorama, if you want maximal performance disable voxy and you can run at 120fps constant or more.
If you are using voxy you must expect lag and freeze when you just loaded a world due to Voxy World Gen V2 generating chunk and LoD for Voxy, it go back to normal pretty quicly but i would recommend to turn off Voxy World Gen V2 after it has generated a bunch of chunks to free up performane.
### ⚠️ About Voxy
Voxy is the **black sheep** of this list — it's most likely to be what stops a player on real potato hardware from being able to play. **Disable it first if you're struggling**, and swap **Voxy World Gen V2** for **Chunky** as a lighter alternative.
