My Ice Boat Racing Modpack

# My Ice Boating Modpack This is **my personal Ice Boating modpack**! I created it because many existing ice boating modpacks either lacked good performance mods or weren't configured the way I wanted. The pack is mainly focused on **performance**, while also including a handful of useful mods specifically for ice boating to improve the overall experience. To help you get started, I've already added **4 Ice Boating servers** to the multiplayer server list, including **FrostHex**, so you can jump straight into racing. This modpack is configured to fit my own preferences, but feel free to customize it however you'd like! You can edit the included configs, add your own mods, or remove anything you don't need to make the pack suit your own setup. --- # Q&A ## How do I change the Boat HUD? If you'd like to customize the Boat HUD, simply join a world or server and type: ```text /bb_boat_hud ``` into chat. This will open the BBBoatHUD configuration page in your browser.  Editing the HUD is pretty straightforward, and all changes update **live in-game**, so you can instantly see where everything is being placed without needing to restart or reload anything. --- # Important Mods Used ### 1. Performance Mods A huge collection of performance mods (you could basically say I took **Fabulously Optimized** and built on top of it). ### 2. It's a well-made and highly customizable Boat HUD that displays useful information while you're racing. ### 3. [Auth Me](https://modrinth.com/mod/auth-me) Fixes the occasional authentication issues that can cause Minecraft to randomly think you're logged out, resulting in the **"Authentication failed, please restart the client and/or launcher"** error. ### 4. [BoatCam](https://modrinth.com/mod/boatcam) Locks your camera to your boat's momentum, making racing feel smoother and more natural. ### 5. [Gamma Utils](https://modrinth.com/mod/gamma-utils) Adds Fullbright, making darker tracks and maps much easier to see. ### 6. [OpenBoatUtils](https://modrinth.com/mod/openboatutils) Probably the **most important mod** in this pack! It allows boats to travel on non-ice blocks and even move up full blocks, making many modern ice boating maps and mechanics possible. ### 7. [Simple Voice Chat](https://modrinth.com/plugin/simple-voice-chat) Lets you talk to other players on servers that support **Simple Voice Chat**, such as **FrostHex**. ### 8. And so much more! These mods include [WorldEdit](https://modrinth.com/plugin/worldedit), [Axiom](https://modrinth.com/mod/axiom) and [Litematica](https://modrinth.com/mod/litematica)! I added these because some users would maybe want to make their own ice boat tracks! So if you do not plan on using them u can remove them or leave them. Like i said above you are free to edit the configs and mods!
