## 📦 What Is MOR?
- **Type**: Pure **client-side** modpack – install it in your local launcher and connect to **(almost) any server**.
> ⚠️ **Do NOT** drop it into a server folder; it is **not** a server pack.
- **Origin**: Originally built for a single private server, open-sourced after that server shut down.
- **Tech Stack**: Forked from *Fabulously Optimized*, then **completely rebuilt** on **Sodium’s high-version branch** (latest Sodium + Iris).

## 🎯 Design Goals

| Shader-friendly defaults, cinematic camera, immersive particles | ~2× FPS over vanilla on mid-tier GPUs | Every config file exposed; users are **encouraged** to tweak & redistribute |
> **Not** a bare-bones “max-FPS” pack – if you want the absolute minimum latency, look elsewhere.

## 📥 Installation (3-Minute Setup)
1. **Prerequisites**:
- **Java 17+** (bundled with most launchers).
2. **Download**
- **Latest stable**: **≥ 2.1.0** on [Modrinth](https://modrinth.com/modpack/mor/versions) or [中文镜像](https://bbsmc.net/project/mor).
- **Legacy 1.x.x**: unsupported, buggy, **do not use**.
3. **Import**
- Drag the `.mrpack` file into your launcher → import → done.
4. **Optional**

## ❓ FAQ
- **Server compatibility?**
Works on **any server** that doesn’t force a broken resource pack.
- **OptiFine?**
**Not included**—use Iris + Sodium for better performance.
- **Mac / ARM support?**
Yes, Apple Silicon & Mesa drivers tested.
