# Molten Obsidian Tools Have you ever been **annoyed** by crafting a replacement diamond tool when the one you've *been* using **breaks**? ## ALERT! I do not recommend downloading the **ALPHA** versions of neither **Forge** nor **Fabric** **1.20.X** as the crafting recipes for the smithing tables weren't ported properly. I will be keeping them up for archiving purposes. ## Overview: With this mod, you can ***upgrade*** your diamond tool to **increase** the **durability** *and* **damage** depending on the tool. All it takes is a **Smithing Table** and 1 piece of **Molten Obsidian**! ## Crafting: In order to obtain **Molten Obsidian** you must first find **Obsidian**, then blast the obsidian in a **Blasting Furnace** for **2 minutes** to get **20 xp** and 1 **Molten Obsidian** ## 1.20.X Crafting You need to craft the **Molten Upgrade Template** or the **Reinforced Upgrade Template** as well as use **Molten Obsidian** or **Reinforced Obsidian** in order to upgrade your Diamond or Netherite tools!!! * Crafting recipes should be available with **[JEI](https://modrinth.com/mod/jei)**
