# KSMP **It looks like vanilla. Give it five minutes.** KSMP is a community server pack built on a simple promise: nothing shouts "modded" at you. No quest book, no skill tree, no HUD clutter. You spawn into a world that reads as Minecraft — and then you notice the villagers are trading in **coins**, the notice board outside the village is posting paid bounties, and the diamond you just mined woke something up. ### What's actually different **Money is real.** Emeralds are just a gem now. A physical coin economy runs through villagers, bounty boards, loot and player-run shops, tuned so that every source is bounded — no infinite faucets, no dead currency. **Diamond gear is earned, not found.** Mining deep diamond ore can release a Grottol; its carapace is what turns diamonds into tools and armour. **Travel is gameplay.** Horses, carts, boats, sailing ships and rails all matter, because waystones are rare and expensive, elytra have been reined in, and powered flight is gated behind conquering the Aether.
