# Hardly Optimised ***best optimisation modpack to exist.*** --- ## ⚠️ Critical Warning: Minecraft 1.21.7 Unsupported ⚠️ **All versions between 1.21.6 and 1.21.7** suffer from severe problems on Intel GPUs (Mojang-confirmed bug). This is NOT Hardly Optimised's problem, this is a problem in minecraft that i cannot fix. **This is not optional** if you use Intel UHD or any low-end system, continuing use of these versions may corrupt worlds or constantly crash. --- # About Hardly Optimised is a modpack made for 1.16.5-1.20.1-1.20.4-1.21.x-26.1.2-26.2 that is made with one goal in mind: **to be very stable and performant**. See, unlike other optimisation modpacks this one isn't bloated with 200 mods you're probably never using in your life or using 2 of the mods there at best, or made poorly where it does get a lot of fps but crashes every 5 minutes. **Hardly Optimised** focuses strictly on stability and making FPS make you feel like you have a RTX 5090. # FAQ **Q:** Can I use this on multiplayer servers? **A:** Yes! Everything in this pack is client-side. So you can join any vanilla, Realm, or modded server. **Q:** Does this replace OptiFine? **A:** Yes. This pack gives significantly higher FPS than OptiFine and has almost every OptiFine feature. **Q:** Can I add my own QoL / gameplay mods? **A:** Absolutely! Hardly Optimised is an optimisation modpack and was purposly made to be as comatible with mods as possible, so you can add whatever mods you like on top. **Q:** Is this mod compatible with lunar client? **A:** Yes, it should. There is no mod in this modpack that breaks lunar client in some way for it to not be compatible. # Recommended Settings - **RAM Allocation:** Allocate **2GB to 4GB of RAM**. For example, if you have 8GB of total RAM, allocating half (4GB) works great. However, if you are rich and have 16GB of RAM or more, **do NOT allocate half (8GB+)**, allocating too much RAM will actually cause lag spikes due to Java Garbage Collection! Stick to **4GB max**. - **Graphics Settings:** You should usually leave these as they are. The pack is already tweaked to give you max FPS right after installing it.
