Glisten is a Minecraft Modpack for Fabric that makes Minecraft more fluid and more immersive by using mods and resource packs. --- ## Utility Mods & APIs **Sodium**: Changes the Game's rendering system, making the game run more smoothly. **Iris**: Adds shader support to Fabric to improve the game's visuals. **Fabric API & Cloth Config API**: Libraries for the mods. **Mod Menu**: Allows you to see all the mods you have, so that you don't have to look in the mods folder. **Forge Config API**: A library that can make some forge mods run on Fabric. --- # Visual content **Fresh Animations**: Gives mobs and others much more movement, making them more fluid. **ETF & EMF**: Remodels the mob to have better joints, essential for Fresh Animations. **Continuity**: Connects glass and other textures to make the game feel fresher. **Chunks Fade In**: Instead of chunks popping in, they fade in. **Camera Overhaul**: When turning, it has a camera sway effect so that it feels smoother when turning. **Shoulder Surfing**: Adds a new camera mode that is basically freelook. **Hold My Items**: Adds new first person animations --- ## Atmosphere & Sound **AmbientSound**: Adds background sounds to make the game feel more lively. For example, birds chirping. **Sound Physics Remastered**:: Adds an echo effect when mining in caves. --- ## UI enhancements **Inventory Particles**: Adds particles when interacting with an item in your inventory. **Smooth Scroll & Smooth GUI**: Adds a smooth interface when swapping in an item slot, and more. **Icons**: Adds an icon in front of the text of the GUI **Colourful Containers**: Adds new GUIs to the game, like crafting and furnace. --- ## Built-in shaders **Complementary Reimagined**: The most popular shader. Makes Minecraft more aesthetically pleasing while keeping the vanilla style. **Visual Vibrance (recommended)**: Makes the game more vibrant, and it doesn't ruin the vanilla feel.
