Vanilla Deluxe is a refined “better vanilla” Minecraft modpack designed to enhance the core gameplay experience without straying from its original feel. It focuses on performance optimization, ensuring smoother gameplay even on lower-end systems, while also providing full support for shaders to elevate visual quality. Alongside these improvements, the modpack includes a carefully selected set of quality-of-life mods that streamline mechanics, improve usability, and reduce friction in everyday gameplay. Overall, Vanilla Deluxe preserves the classic Minecraft atmosphere while making it more polished, efficient, and enjoyable.
# Quality of Life & Optimization Mods
It includes powerful optimization mods like Sodium, Lithium, and FerriteCore for smoother performance, along with ImmediatelyFast to improve world loading and rendering. On the quality-of-life side, mods such as BetterF3, Mouse Tweaks, and Controlling refine the interface and controls, while additions like Right Click Harvest and Easy Shulker Boxes streamline everyday gameplay. Combined with shader support via Iris, the pack delivers a cleaner, faster, and more immersive vanilla experience.
# Shader Support
Vanilla Deluxe features Complementary Shaders (Complementary/Unbound) paired with Euphoria Patches, delivering a refined visual experience with enhanced lighting, shadows, and atmosphere. These tweaks not only improve overall aesthetics but also optimize performance, making the shader accessible across a wide range of systems while maintaining a smooth and immersive vanilla-friendly look.
This modpack also supports Distant Horizons and Voxy, the mod "Chunks fade in" must be turned off.
## Complementary Shaders + Euphoria Patches:
### Improve Performance
In order to improve performance, i recommend tweaking the shaders (or using a lighter one), turn off Fresh Animations for both player and mobs, and turn off xali's Enhanced Vanilla. About 20% more fps.
