Описание

*** # Fear of Sound **Fear of Sound** is a Forge mod that brings your world to life by making mobs dynamically react to nearby noises. Instead of just running away, creatures now have distinct personalities: some will flee in terror, while others will play dead and freeze in place! This adds a new layer of immersion and stealth gameplay, as your actions can startle creatures and influence their behavior in unique ways. This is the opposite of [Attract To Sound Mod](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/attract-to-sound). ## Features * **Dynamic Fear System** Mobs listen for sounds like footsteps, block breaks, and explosions. They calculate a “fear radius” based on the noise intensity and decide how to react. * **Two Unique Reactions: Flee or Freeze!** Not all mobs just run! Configure which creatures flee from danger and which ones play dead, like a fainting goat. * **Powerful Bypass System** Want to keep your pets or special mobs safe? Bypass any mob using a Custom Name or specific NBT data. A mob named "Pet" or one that is `{Silent:1b}` can be configured to ignore all sounds! * **Highly Configurable** Nearly every aspect is adjustable via the `.toml` config file. Tweak sound properties, block muffling values, player step sounds, and entity lists to tailor the experience to your exact liking. * **Built-in Mod Support** Out-of-the-box integration for [Simple Voice Chat](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/simple-voice-chat) and [Tacz](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/timeless-and-classics-zero) is included, with easy ways to add sounds from any other mod. ## Installation 1. Ensure you have Minecraft Forge for **1.20.1** installed. 2. Download the latest **Fear of Sound** mod `.jar` file. 3. Place the `.jar` file into your `mods/` directory. 4. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile. ## Configuration Once installed, a detailed configuration file will be generated at `config/fear_of_sound-common.toml`. You can also use the in-game Mod Options menu. You can configure: * **Bypassed Mobs**: Define which mobs to ignore based on their **custom name** or **NBT tags**. * **Fleeing & Playing Dead**: Assign mobs to either the `affectedEntities` (flee) list or the `playDeadEntities` list. * **Sound Properties**: Add custom sounds from other mods and define their scare **range** and **weight**. * **Block Muffling**: Change how much sound is blocked by wool, solid, and thin blocks. ## Compatibility * Designed for Forge **1.20.1** (tested with 47.4.0). * Should work alongside most sound or AI mods, provided they do not add conflicting high-priority AI goals. * Requires no additional libraries beyond Forge and Minecraft. undefined Some words from our sponsor :) undefined ![](https://imgur.com/a/Dhr8qPS)![](https://media.forgecdn.net/attachments/description/960107/description_58ac06a8-f270-4830-a2ff-52d8a3d40557.png) Support me here!Banner Credits: Credits:+ Scene: Made by Sylsatra. + Majungasaurus: by https://sketchfab.com/Kaputlobster+ Dsungaripterus: by https://sketchfab.com/Kaputlobster+ Rope: by https://sketchfab.com/xenosmashgames+ Steve: free BlenderKit model Experience a world where every creak, crash, or shout influences mob behavior—stay silent, stay safe
