# Overview
Expanded Weaponry is a mod that enhances Minecraft combat in many ways. Its main focus is on providing more variety and choice in equipment.
I highly advise combining this mod with [Better Combat](https://modrinth.com/mod/better-combat)(if avaible for the selected version) as it offers cool animations that enhance gameplay and enable you to dual-wield weapons.

Melee weapons
### Hammer
Heavy weapon capable of killing enemies with just 2 blows. Available in all materials.
- very high damage
- very slow attack speed
- two-handed
### Dagger
Lightweight and fast weapon that works the best at fighting multiple weaker opponents. Available in all materials.
- low damage
- very fast attack speed
- low range
### Twin Blade Sword
Fast and stylish weapon meant for fighting swarms of enemies. Available in all materials.
- medium damage
- fast attack speed
- two-handed
### Greatsword
Slow and heavy-hitting weapon with increased range. Great at keeping distance. Available in all materials.

Ranged weapons
### Longbow
Heavier variant of the bow.
- high damage
- long draw time
- high projectile velocity
### Slingshot
Light and fast ranged weapon. Very cheap to use - it uses flint and iron/gold/copper nuggets as ammunition.

- low projectile velocity
Armor
### Heavy Armor
Heavier variant of armor. Gives more protection but slows down the user and is more expensive. Available in all materials.

- more knockback resistance

- less speed

Shields
### Shields Material Tiers
Material tiers of shields. With every tier the shields block higher percentage of damage, have less axe disable cooldown and block more base damage.
Shield stats:
- Min. **X** Damage Blocked
- **X**% Damage Blocked
- **X**s of Disabled Cooldown
Example shield stats for Iron Shield:
