# 📖 DisenchantAnvil
**Minecraft Mod for NeoForge – 1.21.1**

## 🪄 What It Does
Disenchant items or enchanted books — because sometimes you want the enchant off that **potato**, or that **stick**, and put it where it belongs: **your gear**. 🙂

## 🎮 How to Use
1. Place **Obsidian** or **Crying Obsidian**.
2. Put items **directly on top** of that block:
* **Plain Books** – 1 for every enchant you wish to move (2 if you are splitting a book).
* **Enchanted Items** – to strip.
* **Enchanted Books** – to split.
3. Drop an **Anvil** so it **lands on the obsidian**.
**Behavior (short & sweet):**
* **Items → Books:** Removes enchants (**curses first, then top-down**).
Each removed enchant **consumes 1 plain book** and creates **1 enchanted book**.
* **Enchanted Books:** If it has **multiple enchants**, it’s **split** into single-enchant books (the original is removed). Single-enchant books are left alone.
* **QoL:** Repair/“prior work” cost is cleared; drops are nudged outward.
* **Batch-friendly:** Handles big piles in one thunk (server limits apply).
