Deep Underground (Mining Dimension)

## Overview Deep Underground adds a simple 256-block tall mining dimension. It has three biomes: **Deep Cave**, **Deep Dripstone Cave** and **Frozen Cave**. The dimension has boosted ore generation rates, boosted mob spawn rates and has three unique stone types: **Black Granite**, **Grimslate**, and **Schist**. To create the portal, craft at least 10 **framed polished blackstone** blocks, place them in a Nether portal shape and light it with a lava bucket.  The dimension is very dark, and coal doesn't generate. However, additional ores and structures can easily be added with external datapacks. When mining deeper down into the dimension, **Viridium** and **Cerulium** can be found, which can be crafted into armor and tools. Cerulium can also be used to make **Depthbound Steel** which is obtained by leaving an **Inert Depthbound Block** below Y=24 in the dimension. After 1.1.0, **Cyclite** (a furnace fuel) can rarely generate as an ore, or be found in rare geodes. ## Compatibility The mod has biome icons for compatibility with EMI Ores and Continuity support for the framed polished blackstone block. A future update will add proper biome tags. ## Can I Use This in a Modpack? Yes! I actually created this mod for use in a modpack after discovering there wasn't already a similar mod on this version.
