Create: Brassworks

This is a small Create addon that gives you a few more ways to get and reuse brass. The main idea is pretty simple: make brass progression a little less annoying without making brass basically free. In particular, it gives you a way to get brass without needing to hunt down a Nether Fortress first. ## Renewable Zinc and Copper Brassworks adds two new materials: * **Zinc Grit** * **Copper Grit** Both can be obtained through Create's washing mechanics: * Washing **gravel** has a chance to give you Zinc Grit * Washing **sand** has a chance to give you Copper Grit This gives you a renewable source of both metals using stuff you can automate pretty early on. ## Brass Dust The main addition is **Brass Dust**. You can craft it from copper, zinc, and coal or charcoal, then smelt or blast it into regular brass ingots. Later on, you can automate the process with a Mechanical Mixer using copper, zinc, and Andesite Alloy. This recipe produces Brass Dust more efficiently than the basic crafting recipe. ## Recycling There are also a few crushing recipes for recycling brass parts you don't need anymore: * **Brass Sheet** → Brass Dust * **Empty Blaze Burner** → Brass Dust, with a chance to get an Iron Sheet back * **Precision Mechanism** → Brass Dust, with a chance to get Andesite Alloy back You won't get everything back, but at least old parts don't have to be completely wasted.
