# Craft Enchanted Golden Apples
This project restores the original Minecraft crafting recipe for Enchanted Golden Apples (also often called Notch/God Apples), which was removed back in version 1.9.
Very lightweight, supports all Minecraft 1.21 versions and now also 26.1!
## Crafting Recipe
Surround an apple with 8 gold blocks in a crafting table!
> The recipe will show up in your recipe book after you craft it for the first time.

- No configuration needed, just drop it in and play
- Recipe automatically appears in your recipe book after crafting once

## Installation
### Plugin (Paper, Spigot, Purpur)
1. Download the .jar file
2. Drop it into your server's `/plugins` folder
3. Restart your server
### Datapack (Vanilla/Fabric/Forge)
Works on both singleplayer worlds and servers.
1. Download the datapack .zip file
2. Place it in your world's `/datapacks` folder
- Singleplayer: `.minecraft/saves/[WorldName]/datapacks`
- Server: `[ServerFolder]/[WorldName]/datapacks`
3. Run `/reload` ingame or restart your server
4. Check with `/datapack list` to verify.
## Why does this exist?
The goal is to make enchanted golden apples more accessible again in vanilla minecraft - and not purely relying on loot. Great for SMP and survival servers.
## Roadmap
- Add support for older versions (1.20.x, 1.19.x, etc.)
- Config file for customizing the recipe!
