# Complementary SMP Modpack This **Fabric** modpack has the simple purpose of providing members of the ComplementarySMP a straightforward and easy way to play and enjoy the server. Its vanilla-oriented direction means that none of these mods are required to join the SMP, and are **completely optional**.  ### Server features Apart from including mods that will improve your performance in the SMP and the game in general, the CompSMP Modpack also has a number of **server-side mods** that must also be installed in the client for you to be able to use them in the SMP. ### Quality of Life The CompSMP Modpack provides quality-of-life mods that will improve your vanilla experience, by fixing various bugs, providing helpful GUI shortcuts, and many optional tweaks. ### Custom configuration options The CompSMP Modpack also includes customized configurations for the game and the mods installed.
