# Brighter Ores
A resource pack that makes ores emissive in vanilla minecraft.
## How?
As of Java Edition 1.21.2, Mojang added light_emission to models, allowing glowing models in vanilla.
## Why?
All existing emissive ores resource packs require optifine or iris or another mod as far as I know.
Also, I saw the [emissive torchflowers resource pack](https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/glowing-torchflowers), and decided to do that for ores.
