# Blue Hardcore Hearts
A minimal HUD recolor that gives your heart bar a distinct **hardcore, spiky** look — no more plain rounded hearts.
## Features
- 💙 **Normal hearts** recolored to a clean blue
- 💗 **Withered hearts** recolored to a soft mauve pink
- 🖤 All hearts redrawn with a jagged, hardcore-style silhouette
- ⚡ Also covers frozen, poisoned, and absorption heart states for full consistency
- 🪶 Lightweight — textures only, no performance impact
## Requirements
- Minecraft **1.21.5 or newer** (uses the new split heart sprite system)
- No other resource packs or mods required
## Installation
1. Download the file below
2. Place it in your `.minecraft/resourcepacks` folder (or drag-and-drop into `Options > Resource Packs` in-game)
3. Enable **Blue Hardcore Hearts** in the resource pack list
## Notes
This pack only edits `assets/minecraft/textures/gui/sprites/hud/heart/`, so it's fully compatible with any pack that doesn't also touch heart textures.
