Better Villagers

## Better Villagers Better Villagers is a Fabric mod that changes how villagers choose where to walk by letting you assign custom path penalties to blocks. A higher penalty makes villagers avoid that block more strongly. A lower penalty makes that block more attractive. The minimum penalty is `0`, which means villagers will prefer it over blocks with higher penalties. This lets you guide villager movement in a simple and configurable way. For example, you can make villagers avoid dangerous or annoying terrain like lava, magma blocks, or water, while encouraging them to use paths and safer walkways. ## Features - Custom villager block path penalties - In-game configuration through Mod Menu - Easy block-by-block control - Supports multiple Minecraft versions on Fabric - Works in singleplayer and multiplayer ## How It Works Each configured block gets a penalty value: - `0` = most preferred - Higher values = more strongly avoided Villagers will try to path through lower-penalty blocks when possible. ## Configuration You can configure the mod in Mod Menu.
