FernlitCraft's Better Campfires: 3D Logs + Cozy Crackles upgrades vanilla campfires with a more balanced, cozy look and sound — without changing gameplay.
What this pack does
Upgraded 3D log model with better proportions (less bulky, more “real” campfire shape)
Food sits neatly on the logs (no awkward hovering look)
Softer smoke that’s less distracting on screen
Custom cozy crackling audio for a more ASMR / ambience-friendly campfire
Shader-friendly: looks great in vanilla and works beautifully with shaders
Compatibility
Minecraft: 1.14+ → 1.21.11+
Resolution: 16x16
Works with: vanilla textures and most resource packs (anything that doesn’t replace campfire models/sounds may stack fine)
No Dependencies
Install
Download the .zip
Put it in: .minecraft/resourcepacks
Enable in Options → Resource Packs
(Optional) Move it higher in the pack list so it overrides other packs.
Notes
This is a visual + audio upgrade only (no gameplay changes).
If another pack also edits campfire models/particles/sounds, whichever is higher in the list wins.
